Automation Quote

Standardized Automation Quote Process Fast-Tracks Success

New projects can be exciting and stressful. Timelines, budgets and communication among internal and external parties are just some of the many factors that contribute to project success from the start. Understanding and implementing each of those aspects takes time, but the RFQ process should not. AMS has developed an automation quote process to make your vendor selection simple and effective. Whether you have an official RFQ or simply a project outline, AMS will closely examine your situation and provide value where it fits best.

Coordination From Start to Finish

Regardless if the project lead or the sourcing department is in charge of vendor selection, there should always be open communication with the potential partner. AMS incorporates our unmatched speed of response, proven 17-Step Process and decades of experience to provide quotes that are both accurate and timely. We understand that prompt quotes make your life easier.

The Automation Quote Approach

Every company has its own process for providing RFQs for new projects. The difference in AMS is that the process followed for providing quotes can be traced and repeated for new and existing customers. Upon receiving an RFQ, there are a few steps we follow in every situation. As outlined in our 17-Step Process, the first stages are to identify the need and define the project requirements before drafting a solution. This approach helps prevent customer disappointment and expensive rework by examining all possible outcomes for a desired result before we provide a quote.

 The Process

Providing “custom standard” solutions has long been a part of AMS’s success and customer satisfaction. Although no two projects are identical, AMS references previous projects related to each of our core competencies to ensure the feasibility and scope of work align with our service offerings. By leveraging decades of application knowledge and being process-neutral, we seek to find a solution that will fit the project instead of making the project fit the solution. AMS can assist in providing proven outcomes that are both efficient and effective as it relates to the customer’s needs.

Once the RFQ has been examined, there are a few activities necessary for every project. AMS provides a budgetary quote that outlines the general scope of the operation or project. This step accounts for desired machine components, timeline, budget and any other necessary requirements for project success. Upon review, AMS then presents the official quote in the following days to all parties involved in the decision-making process.

Providing Solutions, Not Problems

Along with the many value-added services AMS provides, the core of our work is our customers. AMS helps manufacturers solve their problems by devising solutions that go above and beyond. Acting as a trusted business partner and key supplier is where AMS stands out from the competition. In the words of our Vice President and General Manager Chris Edwall, “The feeling that we make our customers’ jobs easier when we complete a successful project that is delivered on time is important to us.”

AMS utilizes this process to ensure customers from each industry are given the best service and the best solution.

The feeling that we make our customers’ jobs easier when we complete a successful project that is delivered on time is important to us.
